Hi-technology transducers

See both deep and detailed with two displays on the same screen. The low frequency display will show deep water bottom contours and the high frequency display the mid-water section with trawl targets or bait fish in a higher resolution, revealing more details.You can go very deep, the two 1,000 Watt transceivers will ensure sufficient power to reach depths of up to 1,800 meters (5,400 feet).

Simrad transducers are some of the most efficient echosounder transducers available in the world. The benefit when using Simrad transducers is far better resolution.

The echoes on the screen are more defined with sharper edges around each echo, better separation and better color definition of echoes.

Efficiency

Simrad transducers have a high efficiency due to the use of ceramic transducer elements. A typical value is 60%. Providing you with a greater depth range and better sensitivity to see fish marks at greater depths.

See deep with 50 kHz or detailed using 200 kHz operation. The low frequency mode will show deep water bottom con-tours and the high frequency mode the midwater section with trawl targets or bait fish in a higher resolution revealing more details.

A-Scope

The A-Scope, which gives a precise picture of the present echo, is often used for separating fish from the bottom and determining stock sizes as well as spotting single fish.

Event mark and event memory

Use the PLOT key to make a vertical marker at the present depth or move a cursor backwards in the echogram to where you have spotted something of interest. The event memory will besides depth also have recorded the actual position. You can store this information and see it as a WP or mark on the chart.

Bottom lock and expansion

The advanced bottom lock feature ensures a detailed seabed read-out. The bot-tom area or the area near the VRM (Variable Range Marker) can be magni-fied for better separation of echoes. The zoom level can be selected in 8 steps from 1 to 50 meters or 5 to 150 feet.

White Line

The White Line feature will help sepa-rating fish and important structures which tend to merge with the bottom.
